Vita
Eran teaches and writes about legal and philosophical questions concerning human rights, national security, and other public affairs. He has a PhD in philosophy from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and an LL.M. from New York University (NYU), where he was a Hans Kelsen scholar. He clerked at the Haifa District Court in Israel and was admitted to the bar. Before joining the Max Planck Institute, Eran was a postdoc fellow at the Chair of Moral Philosophy at LMU Munich. He taught different courses in law and in philosophy in Jerusalem, Berne and Lucerne.
