Jochen Jähnke, M.A.

Aca­dem­ic Back­ground

Jochen Jähnke is Head of the IT Sec­tion of the Max Planck In­sti­tute for the Study of Crime, Security and Law in Freiburg/Ger­many (MPI). He stud­ied chem­istry, math­em­at­ics, so­ci­ology, psy­cho­logy, and com­puter sci­ence at the uni­versit­ies of Stut­tgart and Freiburg. His mas­ter's de­gree (M.A.) is in com­puter sci­ence, psy­cho­logy, and so­ci­ology. Since 1995 he has been em­ployed at the MPI and – when time per­mits – he un­der­takes re­search in the afore­men­tioned areas.
