We are very much looking forward to working with you and wish you a successful time at our Institute.
We provide assistance and support to new employees of the MPI-CSL with their non-scientific inquiries regarding their arrival and stay in Freiburg.

Starting work at the MPI-CSL and relocating to Germany and Freiburg i. Br. is for many new employees one of the most exciting but also one of the most stressful events in their lives. They have to deal with several legally required formali­ties, find a flat, register with the city, and get to know the Institute and its workflows. We want new staff members at our Institute to settle in quickly and feel a sense of belonging. That is why we support you in all the essential steps concern­ing:

• preparations before your arrival in Germany
• tasks that need to be done after your arrival in Freiburg
• your start at the Institute and working at the Institute in general
• living in Freiburg incl. mobility
