As the first comprehensive academic presentation of German constitutional law in English, this volume brings together contributions from many of Germany’s foremost constitutional scholars. Their collective aim is to promote transnational constitutional dialogue. Foreign readers are introduced to German constitutional law through comparative and international reference points and through reflection on the preconditions and legal-cultural frameworks informing the German debate.
