The EU AI Act’s Impact on Security Law
Verfassungsblog and Max Planck Institute launch Debate Series
The EU AI Act’s Impact on Security Law – this is the title of the first debate series co-organized by Verfassungsblog and the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Crime, Security and Law.
Not only does the rapid development of AI technologies have broad societal implications, it also challenges legal concepts, institutions, and scholarship. Featuring a diverse and international range of authors from both legal practice and academia, this debate series responds by exploring the immense impact of the AI Act on European and German security law.
It is part of a cooperation between the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Crime, Security and Law and Verfassungsblog, falling into the thematic cluster VB Security and Crime. The cooperation aims to facilitate a broad discussion on current topics, involving as many scholars as possible – national and international, junior and senior – from different perspectives.
