Honor for Sarah Katharina Stein
LMU Faculty Award goes to Max Planck postdoc
Sarah Katharina Stein has been honored with the 2023 Faculty Award by the Ludwig Maximilian University (LMU) of Munich.
The award comes in recognition of her outstanding dissertation, written at LMU: “Staatliche Aufgaben oder staatliches Aufgeben? Die Gefahren militärischen Outsourcings” [State Mandate or State of Abandonment? The dangers of military outsourcing]. The prize was awarded on October 18, 2024 at the Law Faculty's graduation and doctoral ceremony.
Sarah Katharina Stein has been a postdoc in the Department of Public Law at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Crime, Security and Law since May 2024. Her dissertation also made it onto the Körber Foundation’s shortlist for the 2024 German Thesis Award this summer.
