Tatjana Hörnle Named Distinguished Fellow of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem

Freiburg criminal law expert Tatjana Hörnle has been named a Distinguished Fellow by the Faculty of Law at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
The university cites Tatjana Hörnle's “renowned contributions to legal research and education, alongside her remarkable professional achievements” as the reason for the accolade. Her formal affiliation with Hebrew University will enrich the academic community and contribute to its vibrant and international academic environment.
Tatjana Hörnle has long been academically associated with the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. In 2016, she was a member of the research group “The Legitimization of Modern Criminal Law” at the Israel Institute of Advanced Studies. Over the past few years, multiple collaborative events have taken place under her direction; most recently, a conference entitled “Theorizing Criminal Law” was held at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Crime, Security and Law in June of this year.
Tatjana Hörnle is a Director at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Crime, Security and Law, where she heads the Department of Criminal Law.
