The 7th In­ter­na­tio­nal Con­fe­rence on Evi­dence Law and Fo­ren­sic Science (ICELFS) has be­en suc­cess­ful­ly held in Frei­burg, Ger­ma­ny from Ju­ly 31st to Au­gust 2rd. The mee­ting of the In­ter­na­tio­nal As­so­cia­ti­on of Evi­dence Science (IAES), that ta­kes place eve­ry two years, was pre­pa­red with sup­port from the Max Planck In­sti­tu­te for For­eign and In­ter­na­tio­nal Cri­mi­nal Law (MPICC) and the Chi­na Uni­ver­si­ty of Po­li­ti­cal Science and Law (CU­PL). Du­ring the three-day con­fe­rence, con­struc­ti­ve and fruit­ful ex­chan­ges we­re ma­de over va­rious to­pics of Evi­dence Law and Fo­ren­sic Science among 83 at­ten­de­es from 19 coun­tries, in­clu­ding Prof. em. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Hans-Jörg Al­brecht, Prof. Ro­nald J. Al­len, Prof. Ed­ward Im­win­kel­ried, Prof. Dr. Jan Lie­der, LL.M. (Har­vard), Prof. Dr. Wal­ter Per­ron, Prof. Dr. Ralf Po­scher, Prof. Paul Ro­berts, Prof. Dr. Li­ling Yue and Prof. Dr. Ba­os­heng Zhang.
